Check In/Check Out
Check-in is after 4:00 pm; check-out is before 11:00 am. Late check-outs may be available upon request for a small charge. Please inquire at the front desk.
In the event you need to cancel or change your reservation, you must do so no later than 6:00pm on the day prior to your scheduled arrival date. MotorCity Casino Hotel reserves the right to validate credit cards used to guarantee reservations. If funds equaling the amount of the first night’s stay are not available on the credit card used to guarantee a reservation, MotorCity Casino Hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation without notice. Some reservations require prepayment of the full amount of the stay and cannot be cancelled without charge.
Cash is not accepted at the hotel front desk. Credit cards are the only form of payment accepted, including for deposits related to incidental charges.
Children are allowed in the hotel and restaurants. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times while they are on property.
Outside Food and Beverage
While MotorCity Casino Hotel offers many options for dining on property, we understand that you may like to bring with you items from home to eat or drink while you are staying with us. We will allow you to bring in one small cooler, no larger than 16 quarts in size. Larger wheeled or chest coolers are not permitted. All food items brought onto the property must be stored within this cooler. Items such as cakes, food trays, chafing dishes, large boxes of take out food, aluminum containers of food, cases of beer, bottles of liquor, and cooking equipment of any kind are prohibited on property.
A $50 deposit is required at check-in for incidental charges. Some reservations require that a deposit is taken at the time that the reservation is made. We only accept credit cards (no cash, no comp dollars, no checks) for this deposit. Credit card authorizations for incidentals are released immediately upon check-out and usually takes 3-5 business days to be reflected in your account.
Parking is complimentary. The casino valet entrance is on Temple Street; the hotel valet entrance is on Brooklyn Street.
We allow small dogs for an additional charge. Please inquire at the front desk.
We do not have a pool.
Small refrigerators are located in every hotel room for your convenience.
Rollaway beds are available upon request for a fee of $40 per night and are based on availability. We allow one rollaway bed per king room. Rollaway beds are not permitted in rooms with two double beds.
Smoking is NOT permitted.
Spa & Fitness
Our spa is temporarily closed. The fitness center is available to hotel guests. Children are not allowed in the spa or fitness center. Masks must be worn at all times.
A 24-hour taxi stand, as well as ride share drop-off/pick-up area, is located outside casino valet.
